BLOGPOST #1: Obedience to Authority

I share some moment with my mom, everyday my mom waking me up and to prepare myself going to school because my mom want me to be early. Yesterday, I want to be absent for one day but my mom told me with her angry face and her shouting mouth because she want me not to be absent. I always asking my self: "Why those parents have an authority to obey their child to them?". I am the daughter of my God that's why I respect my parents. Two articles that I have read for doing this blog and the first one is talking people obeying the person has an authority to do something. Then, the last article talks about thinking why we have to obey our parents.

Last night, I read the article, "Obedience to Authority" by Saul McLeod he wrote that Obedience as a form of individual reaction and having an arrangement to the person. The authority settle of the person that the ones have a power and it is a form of social impact. The person that have authorities that assume that he or she should obey because the person has a power to command.

According to Saul McLeod, ''How far people would go in obeying an instruction if it involved harming another person''

I disagree because people don't have other's mind cause they have own perspective in obeying another person. We should always be good or obey our parents, we don't have the authority to make them angry and stress how we treat them. I myself believe that we should obey our parents because I'm born in this world and they're my parents. 

I, myself have considered our generation asking why our parents. Exactly in my second reading that similarly to my topic obedience and this article titled "WHY DO WE HAVE TO OBEY OUR PARENTS?" by BETH CURRIER that was mentioned obeying God equals to obeying parents are our relationship to each other.

She said the most important in any relationship nowadays in us  are having every first one another is depending on it our own relationship with God. Even though our own relationship with our parents is directly relating to our relationship with God, in that all matters she said of being obedient. Being obedient to our God always reflects and always affects our relationship with Him.We, as a child of God we giving to love, to care and to respect one another us to prove that we knowing God but now some parents are forgetting and abuses the right of their child. The right to love them and caring them, this is not excuse to neglect their responsibilities. 

By reading this article of Beth, I just realized that parents are also God's child. We have to be obedient by them because their have authority to ordered us. According to her this is also certainly not God's plan, and we must cling to the hope that our Father in heaven will restore these families and make all things right one day. Currier said by her article and I agreed also. One day we are obedient to our parents, to person has authority and by our God's command.

According to, Beth Currier ''Keep your room clean, Don't talk back. Ask mom and dad to hang-out every one in awhile. And always keep them in your prayers.''

I agree because its my daily routine to clean our room not only my room also our house and this is a good thing for our parents. In addition sometimes I'm not only one who clean also the members of our family it is also called for us a bonding time. Then we go out to bond if we're all finished and we have a free time to hang-out outside and make unforgettable moment to put in our memories.

In my conclusion,obedience is virtue for us to succeed obeying our parents and elders is a must. Why? because they know more what they tell us are derived from their personal experiences. Experience is the best teacher so if we obey them its just like going through the right track.
